• Sleeping mats or air beds + pump
• Sleeping bags per person
• Extra blanket (camping nights are colder than you think)
• Pillows and a familiar stuffed animal
• Night light or torch per child

Cooking & food

• Camping stove + gas
• Pans, cutlery, plates, cups
• Cool box + ice packs
• Washing-up kit and bin bags
• Snacks and breakfast for the first morning

Day & outdoors

• Water shoes for the lake
• Rain ponchos (it always rains once)
• Insect repellent and tick remover
• Sunscreen and sun hat
